Combine your artistic, technical and personal growth with the excitement of discovering the vibrant Ligurian coast and its beauties, its breathtaking landscapes, the crystalline sea, the medieval villages and the rich culinary culture. Rapallo is a charming town in the Gulf of Tigullio nestled between the mountains. Its center is full of shops and clubs, and is enriched by a beautiful walk on the sea with a view of the homonymous Castle. You can take advantage of it to go on unforgettable excursions and walks, including visits to the famous 5 Terre, the Sanctuary of Montallegro, Portofino and many others. We look forward to welcoming you in July 2025 SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAM The TTSTAGE International Summer Intensive will take place in Rapallo from July 7 to 19, 2025. The program is designed for participants aged 11 and up, including adults. Over two weeks, dancers will engage in an intensive exchange of knowledge, aiming to enhance ballet and dance skills. The schedule includes four daily classes, starting at 9:30 AM and ending around 3:00 PM, at the Casa della Gioventù in the center of Rapallo (via Alessandro Lamarmora 18/B). Two levels: professional (with open-level Russian technique masterclasses) and amateur. Classes include: • Ballet • Pointe work, female and male repertoire • Pas de Deux • Modern Contemporary • Character Dance Private lessons and competition preparation are available upon request. At the end of the first week, there will be a Ballet Photo Shoot for personalized photographic material, either for career purposes or fun, with a professional photographer at stunning indoor and outdoor locations. Selected participants (after audition) will have the chance to perform in the final show Le Stelle della Danza with professional dancers on July 19, marking the conclusion of the intensive. Course teacher Kristian Ratevossian , dancer and teacher of Vaganova technique. A graduate of the renowned Vaganova Academy, Ratevossian began his career at the Bolshoi Theater under the direction of Yuri Grigorovich. From Russia to new challenges with the move abroad, dancing on numerous world-famous stages including Staatsoper Vienna, Nippon Ballet Company Tokyo, Staatsoper Berlin and Deutsche Opera Berlin. Ratevossian has danced virtually the entire classical repertoire including Nutcracker, Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Sleeping Beauty and more modern choreographies by George Balanchine, Maurice Bejart, Pierre Lacotte and Roland Petit. After finishing his career as a dancer, Kristian found himself in great demand around the world to teach courses and give workshops as a guest teacher. For the repertoire, maestro Ratevossian will be joined by Elvis Nudo and Martin Nudo , dancers at the National Finnish Ballet in Helsinki, Finland. He immediately began his career as a dancer at the Bavarian State Ballet Junior Company in Munich and later danced important roles at the Aalto Theater in Essen Germany where he worked for two years. He currently dances at the Finnish National Opera Ballet di Helsinki. CRISTINA SARASSO Dancer and ballet teacher. She trained at the Accademia di Danza Citta di Vercelli directed by Pilar Sampietro. After completing her studies at the Teatro Alla Scala and at Laban in London, she worked in Madrid, at Santamaria Compania de danza, in Bordeaux with Monica Panader, for the Balafori Company with Alessandra Costa and in Italy in various ballet productions. She currently dances for Arcadia Productions on tour throughout Italy and works as a teacher of floor barre, classical ballent and pointe technique for children and adult as well as Pilates. He has worked on luxury cruises in shows with Carnival Cruises and Silja Line and in musical theatre has performed in shows such as Singing in the Rain and Annie Get Your Gun. He now teaches, choreographs and produces different cultural projects as well judging internationally. He is the director of the Finland International Summer Ballet School.
